Courtney Sale Ross University Professor of Globalization and Education and Co-director, Institute for Globalization and Education, New York University.

He conducts research in the U.S. and low- and middle-income countries on the effects of public policies and programs related to immigration, early childhood, parental employment and education, and poverty reduction on children’s development. He currently serves as co-chair of the education workgroup of the U.N. Sustainable Development Solutions Network, the research and technical group advising the Secretary General on post-2015 global development goals. His recent books include Immigrants Raising Citizens: Undocumented Parents and Their Young Children.
