Cathy Pryce, Vice-President of Addiction and Mental Health for Alberta Health Services examines healthcare as one of the most complex, fascinating and frustrating systems to work within. Researchers are continually expanding our knowledge base and health care providers are committed to improving care for the patients, clients, families and communities they serve.  This presentation will discuss some of the challenges faced in bridging evidence into practice and describe how AHS Addiction and Mental Health programs are using leading edge knowledge of best practices to shape services and improve health outcomes.
