Service Delivery, Brain Architecture, Addiction, Stress
August 2012
Catherine Pryce and Margaret King discuss the process of using emerging early brain and biological development evidence from prominent researchers, explored in past Symposia, to improve health policy, strengthen health care services, improve population health and transform the Alberta Health system. The connections between ministries and stakeholders are pivotal in Alberta's Addiction & Mental Health strategy. This presentation describes how to move from strategy to action using the early brain and biological development information to play a part in the success of Alberta's first provincial strategy for addiction and mental health.
