Stefan is currently a doctoral student in Community Health Sciences (Population/Public Health) at the University of Calgary. His research focuses on early childhood adversity, parent–child interactions, child and adult mental health, family violence, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ health. As a member of the Child Health Implementation and Longitudinal Development (CHILD) Studies Program, he has contributed to research examining family health, including projects related to family violence and children’s mental health. His recent work includes publications exploring intimate partner abuse in underserved and rural communities. Outside of his academic work, Stefan enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and connecting with friends.
